Soldier by day Filmmaker by night. Jones is the creator, writer, director and film editor for most of her productions. Her values, love of life, comedy, and story-telling is reflected in her projects.
She has won several prestigious Film Festival awards for her first two original films “Kandace Queen” and “Grandma Ghost”. Lynette Jones, is a prolific and visionary independent filmmaker, with a keen eye for storytelling and an innate ability to capture the essence of the human experience. Jones has won several prestigious Film Festival awards for her original films. Her works seamlessly blend emotional depth with moments of levity, showcasing a versatile and unique cinematic voice. Jones's dedication to her craft is evident in the nuanced performances she elicits from her actors and the meticulous attention to detail in every frame.
Jones is a native of Los Angeles, owns and operates Jonesy Girl Productions in Fayetteville, NC. She has served four tours of duty overseas and is a decorated soldier. Lynette also graduated from The Art Institute of Atlanta. She is currently stationed at Ft. Liberty in N.C.
